Job Summary:
Join an elite tooling company in Huntsville, AL as a Furnace Operator and be part of a team that produces products for Global Fortune 500 companies. As a Furnace Operator, you will be responsible for operating a loader, setting up and breaking down furnaces, performing routine cleaning, and maintaining a continuous visual check of the process.

Job Specifications:
- Job Type: Full-time
- Location: Huntsville, AL
- Pay Rate: $20.00/hr. – 1st Shift, $21.00/hr. – 3rd Shift
- Shift: 6:30am to 6:30pm/6:30pm to 6:30am, every other weekend

What's a typical day as a Furnace Operator?
- Load and unload fixtures with product into furnaces
- Ensure correct product setup and cleanliness
- Ensure adequate gas supply and replace gas tanks as needed
- Perform tests on standards to ensure coating thickness and adhesion are within specifications
- Perform batch cleanings at proper intervals
- Responsible for setting up and separating product

Roles and Responsibilities:
- Observe all safety rules and wear appropriate PPE
- Operate a loader to load and unload metals being processed
- Perform routine cleaning
- Set up and break down furnaces
- Maintain a continuous visual check of the process and periodically check temperature
- Screen, separate, and crush metal
- Perform other reasonable and related duties as assigned

Qualifications & Skills:
- Prefer at least one year of experience in a manufacturing environment
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment
- Must be able to read, write, and perform basic math
- Record-keeping skills
- Must be able to use both hands simultaneously for physical movements
- Must be able to work for long periods while standing
- Good eye/hand coordination

Job Conditions & Hazards:
- Moderate dust
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 25kgs (55lbs)
- Potential strains, pinch points, and lacerations
- Hot surfaces
