Scientific Products, an ATS Company is expanding our team and have immediate opening for anAssembler 1st Shift This is a full-time 1st shift position with hours Monday - Friday 6am - 2:30pm. The overall purpose of this job is to assemble completed desiccators and pipette pumps from component parts, test the completed desiccators and pipette pumps, then pack them for shipment.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
+ Maintains functional inventory of component parts.
+ Prepares plastic and other component parts for assembly using a variety of hand tools and measuring devices. Assembles components into finished desiccators following written work order instructions.
+ Tests finished products for functionality and appearance. Maintains inventory of component parts.
+ Collaborates with Quality Control and Engineering staff as required. Packs final products for shipment and prepares production/productivity reports.
+ International Standards Organization (ISO) Compliance: Maintains high level of quality in the areas of documentation, inspections, and job performance, as required in procedures and work instructions related to job functions.
WHAT WILL YOU NEED
+ High school diploma or general education degree (GED) are preferred
+ one to three months related experience in an assembly work setting is preferred
+ Problem solving skills is a plus.
+ Experience with computer, scanner, data entry, reading and comprehension of instructions and units of measure are all preferred.
+ Must be able to obtain a good knowledge of Bel-Art system .

+ Ensure that the required protective equipment is used for the assigned tasks

+ Assist in investigating accidents/incidents
Refrain from engaging in any prank, contest, feat of strength, unnecessary running or rough and boisterous conduct
