Job Summary

  • The Medical Laboratory Technician performs a variety of clinical laboratory tests, procedures, and related duties.
  • Utilizes scientific principles and technical, procedural, and problem-solving aptitudes for day-to-day laboratory technical operations.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree in Medical Laboratory Technology from an accredited two-year college program or technical school.
  • Six months to one year of related experience or training preferred.
  • Certification as Medical Laboratory Technician from the ASCP, AMT, or equivalent required within 12 months of hire.

Work Schedule

  • Weekdays: Monday - Friday from 1:00 pm - 9:30 pm; Rotate every 3rd weekend/holiday
  • Weekend Shift: 6:00 pm - 6:30 am
  • 72 hours every 2 weeks
