Position Overview: Currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Cytotechnologist to join the team on a permanent basis. li>
Identify and document abnormal cells or structures and prepare detailed reports for pathologists. Maintain proficiency in cytological techniques and stay updated on new developments in the field. Adhere to quality control and quality assurance protocols to ensure accurate results. Collaborate with pathologists and other healthcare professionals to discuss findings and aid in patient diagnosis and treatment planning. Assist in the training and supervision of laboratory personnel as needed.Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Cytotechnology, Clinical Laboratory Science, or a related field.
- Experience working in a clinical laboratory setting, preferably in cytology.
- Understanding of laboratory safety and infection control practices.
