Our Company Rehab Without Walls Neuro Rehabilitation OverviewMake an Impact in our Home and Community Program: Who we are looking for: An experienced COTA, enthusiastic about providing functional rehabilitation wherever life happens, whether at home, school, work, or in the community You are ready to treat your client beyond a staged environment into real life experiences like cooking in their kitchen, navigating grocery stores, restaurants, outdoor activities, and the workplace You thrive in an autonomous setting, and value being a part of a collaborative team of dynamic therapists What you will receive: Flexible Schedule Created by You Paid per hour (not just per visit) Driving, Travel, Mileage Reimbursement Growth/Advancement Opportunities ResponsibilitiesAssist patients in exercise, ADLs, functional activities, and the application/use of assistive devices in accordance with the treatment plan established by the Occupational Therapist Assist Occupational Therapist in the collection of outcome measures and completion of complex treatment procedures Educate patients, families, and other health workers on selected procedures and functional activities as directed by the Occupational Therapist Participate in ongoing program evaluation and development Maintain thorough and timely documentation of all care provided Maintain working knowledge of and adherence to the AOTA Standards of Practice and Code of Ethics Perform other duties as assigned QualificationsDegree from a certified occupational therapy assistant training program Current Occupational Therapist Assistant certification and license to practice in state of application Minimum of 1 year experience preferred, related to treatment of complex neurological injuries Knowledge of complex neurologic injury and orthopedic rehabilitation techniques Current CPR certification About our Line of Business Rehab Without Walls, an affiliate of BrightSpring Health Services, is a revolutionary neurorehabilitation program that moves individuals outside the walls of institutional settings and into their natural home and community environment through a continuum of care.
