OverviewDeerfield Beach, United States | Posted on 10/17/2025Job Title: Application Architect /Delivery Architect Location: Deerfield Beach FL (Hybrid or Remote – Quarterly Travel Required)Duration: 6 MonthsPrivate equity firm (MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE IN THE INVESTMENT INDUSTRY)ResponsibilitiesProvide technical leadership in the design, documentation, and review of technology solutions that meet business and IT needs; accountable for end-to-end solution delivery and serving as the focal point for technical delivery issues.Lead projects with cross-functional technical resources; drive collaboration with ITS teams, technology partners, business customers, and vendors to ensure alignment on technical deliverables.Provide technical oversight of design to ensure adherence to enterprise standards, reduce complexity, and improve reusability.Lead pre-project consulting, estimation, implementation planning, deployment activities, and transition to support.Work closely with Project Managers and other technology stakeholders to ensure technical deliverables are planned, staffed, and tracked to completion with high quality.Architectural ResponsibilitiesResponsible for architectural design (Solution and Data) and for ensuring solutions comply with Enterprise Architecture Principles and Technology Architecture Patterns.Accountable for technical delivery for assigned projects (Solution and Data).Leverage existing technology portfolio, standards, and patterns to createSolution and Data designs that deliver required business capabilities.Collaborate with other architects, developers, and engineers to drive technology reuse across projects.Collaborate with BU IT management and business stakeholders to gain consensus and drive decisions for projects/initiatives.Approve detailed technical designs and vendor designs; ensure adherence to enterprise standards.Design solutions that reduce complexity and increase reusability; drive down costs and complexity by using enterprise standards.Design solutions that meet the best interests of multiple stakeholders, including project and enterprise levels; leverage enterprise tools and reusable components/services.Work with business users to reduce technical complexity introduced by business requirements; translate highly technical problems into business terms for diverse audiences.Present recommendations clearly and concisely; drive outcomes through trust and influence.Drive desired outcomes and decisions through collaboration and governance processes.Technical Leadership ResponsibilitiesAct as the lead Technology Services representative in delivering technology solutions.Provide overall technical leadership and direct teams in delivery of technology solutions.Collaborate with Project Managers, Portfolio Managers, and technical stakeholders to deliver end-to-end technical delivery.Partner with PM to ensure successful releases to production, including transition activities.Assess risks, anticipate bottlenecks, manage escalations, and drive toward mutually beneficial outcomes.Resolve technical issues and communicate risks effectively; manage partner relationships with 3rd-party vendors as needed.Provide feedback on internal technical team performance to their leaders; work with all levels of the organization and with cross-functional teams.Maintain excellent written and verbal communication; influence decisions and drive outcomes.Develop and follow guidelines to implement and evolve solution architecture for the respective business unit; contribute to Architectural Governance Processes and Procedures.Evaluate end-to-end solutions and oversee solution architecture components.Software Development & Technical ResponsibilitiesStrong Software Development experience in multiple areas including Microsoft .NET/.NET Core/C#, AWS components & architecture, SQL/DBA technologies, Web Services/SOA/SSO, messaging and API technologies, GitHub, Jenkins, and CI/CD development.Demonstrated architecture knowledge with experience delivering cloud-based solutions (private and public).Troubleshooting skills to diagnose across software and infrastructure components.Stays informed of industry trends and maintains current skills with modern technologies and tools.Domain knowledge in software development and software design; experience with systems integration.Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, and/or 10 years related IT experience.7+ years of application development experience; able to coordinate vendor management activities.Proven track record of out-of-the-box thinking; oversees technical staff activities from design to implementation and warranty.Evaluates business requirements and high-level designs for delivering proper solutions;
