Field Project Engineer – Hazen & Sawyer Join Hazen and Sawyer to support the construction of various water and wastewater infrastructure projects. Base pay range $87,000.00/yr - $102,000.00/yr About the company Hazen & Sawyer is a creative, employee-owned company focused on water and wastewater solutions. We thrive on teamwork, client service, and innovation. Responsibilities Review and interpretation of project specifications and drawings. Document control. Assisting in the processing and review of RFI’s, submittals and shop drawings prepared by the contractor. Prepare weekly project meeting agendas and document meeting minutes. Coordinate and facilitate communication between contractor, design engineer, project stakeholders, and owner. Perform field inspections of contractor daily operations for compliance with contract documents. Prepare sketches and assemble data for design engineers. Prepare daily and weekly reports on work accomplished by the contractor. Use cloud-based software such as Procore. Other construction management activities as needed. Qualifications and Skills Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, construction management or related field. Minimum of 3 years of relevant construction management/inspection or design experience, preferably in water/wastewater. Valid driver’s license and clean driving record. Good verbal and communication skills. Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office); ability to learn construction software such as Procore, Bluebeam, etc. Junior or mid-senior level experience preferred. Preferred Certifications CMIT, CCM, EIT, or PE certification a plus.
