Sentara Medical Group invites you to join our dedicated team in Harrisonburg, VA as a Team Lead that aims to advance patient care and clinical excellence. Our Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) are essential to this foundation, and we seek to continue to grow their impact and scope of practice throughout our hospitals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of 3 MDs and 2 APPs.
  • First Assist in OR, Conduct Inpatient Rounding, Discharges, and Consults.
  • Create call schedule, orient new hires, engage in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance patient/team outcomes
  • Participate in rotating call schedule

What Were Looking For:

  • Acute Care NP, FNPs currently working in an inpatient setting, or PA certification
  • Vein Harvesting experience
  • CT-Surgery experience
