Senior Backend Engineer

About the Role Were looking for a senior engineering leader to help shape the future of a fast-growing platform in the healthcare and services space. This is an opportunity to work on meaningful problems at scale while collaborating with a talented, mission-driven team. What Youll Do Architect and build scalable, secure, compliance-ready platform features spanning onboarding, session delivery, billing, and outcome tracking. Define long-term technical strategy with reusable, modular services, APIs, and data pipelines to support rapid product iteration and growth. Deliver high-quality code by championing testing, CI/CD, observability, and monitoring-driven production systems. Promote engineering excellence through code reviews, best practices, and mentorship across levels. Partner with product, design, data, and operations teams to translate user needs into impactful features. Lead technical discussions, author design and architecture docs, and guide peers in decision-making. Identify opportunities to improve performance, reliability, cost efficiency, and developer productivity. Own complex escalations, troubleshoot critical system issues, and ensure uptime for customer-facing services. What Were Looking For 712 years of experience as a full-stack or backend-leaning engineer, including 3+ years in senior or principal-level roles. Strong technical leadership, with experience guiding teams through complex projects. Background in building secure, large-scale systems.
