Surgery - Thoracic Physician

Cardiovascular Surgery AdventHealth Shawnee Mission, Kansas City AdventHealth Medical Group in Kansas City is offering a program building opportunity for a dynamic, experienced cardiovascular surgeon to join our team at AdventHealth Shawnee Mission, a 500+ bed facility. AdventHealth in Kansas City is a leading, faith-based, not-for-profit health system with four hospitals in the greater Kansas City area. The new surgeon will be able to continue to build and develop our CV surgery program and perform a variety of cases including coronary bypass, valvular repair/replacement, and structural heart procedures. Experience or interest in general thoracic surgery is preferred but not required. New surgeon would work alongside a multidisciplinary and growing team of general cardiologists, interventionalists, and electrophysiologists that will total 20 in the next two years. The team has a large complement of cardiovascular APPs, including a CTS PA model facilitating cardiovascular care. ICU care is also enhanced by our dedicated critical care intensivists team.
