Director Psychology Services Join to apply for the Director Psychology Services role at The Alfred Foundation. Bayside Health was formed following the merger of Alfred Health, Bass Coast Health, Gippsland Southern Health Service, Kooweerup Regional Health Service and Peninsula Health on 1 January 2026. Key Responsibilities Lead psychology services across the Alfred Care Group, providing professional leadership for Clinical Psychology, Clinical Neuropsychology and Forensic Psychology working across the Addiction and Menal Health Programme (AMAH) and Acute and Subacute Services. Manage approximately 120 psychologists employed at Alfred Health, guiding service delivery, supervision and mentoring. Report to the Director of Operations (AMAH) and the Director of Allied Health. Essential Experience and Qualifications Registration under the Health Practitioner Regulation National Law (Victoria) Act 2009. Endorsement as a specialist psychologist under the same Act. Relevant Masters or Doctoral degree in Psychology. Minimum ten years’ experience working as a registered psychologist. Prior experience working in a mental health care and/or acute/subacute hospital setting. Experience in the delivery and/or management of a psychology service in a hospital environment. Extensive experience in the delivery of psychology services. Extensive experience in the supervision and mentoring of psychologists, students and support staff. Desirable Membership of the Australian Psychological Society (APS) and of the relevant APS College (e.g., Clinical Psychology). Staff Benefits Salary packaging & novated leasing through Maxxia.
