Acting as Evangelist, Pre & Post Sales Guru and Product Manager, the Director of our First Customer Network will be the point person for roll-out, adoption and customer advocate for the First Customer Network.RESPONSIBILITIESDrive the IT alpha/beta rollout, adoption, learnings, and share feedback of Palo Alto Networks products internally with R&D, Product Management, Support, Services and other teamsDevelop knowledge base and collateral ( White papers, videos, best practice use cases, first customer web site, etc. ) which showcase internal implementations for current and potential customersPresent to current and potential customers as part of pre/post sales initiatives to share best practices and learnings from internal ITQUALIFICATIONSMust be technically savvy and have a deep understanding of Palo Alto Networks productsMust have worked in medium to large scale IT infrastructure to gauge customer challenges and be able to suggest creative approaches to problem solvingA previous role as leading first customer implementations in other technology companies would be a plusBA/BS degree in Computer Science or related technical field, or equivalent practical experience10+ years of technical experience combined with strong management and communication skillsAbility to comfortably present to C-level executives and seniors managersSolid understanding of Windows, Linux, Networking, TCP-IP, Routing, Switching, Firewalls, Load balancers and other infrastructure componentsExperience with Public cloud technologies will be a plusSelf-motivated with ability to influence and partner with various teams to effectively run internal adoption of Palo Alto Networks technologiesDemonstrated ability to develop strong alliances with those outside of your immediate organizationExcellent communications, organization, and time management skillsDemonstrated experience in executing/delivering projects in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
