A local aerospace company is looking for a Quality Inspector to join their team. If you have 3 years of aerospace quality inspection experience and want to build upon that with a great company, this Quality Inspector position could be the perfect opportunity for you

This is a full-time, temp-to-hire position.
Shipping Inspector Job Duties:

* Complete first-piece, in-process, and final-piece inspections per blueprint specifications on machined and pressed parts.
* Measure, examine, and text completed units to detect defects and ensure compliance with specifications, using precision instruments such as micrometers
* Observe, receive, and otherwise obtain information from all relevant sources including engineering prints, relevant programs, setup sheets, sight, and sound
* Analyze information and evaluate results by inspecting equipment, tools, and materials to identify the cause of errors or other problems, choosing solutions, and solving problems.
Schedule: Day Shift - Monday-Thursday; 6:00 am-4:30 pm
Pay: $18-$22 per hour

Shipping Inspector Requirements:

* 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment
* 3+ years of inspection experience, preferably in an aerospace setting
* Experience using measuring tools; calipers, gages, micrometers, microscopes, and more.
* Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, technical documents and schematics
* Proficient in Excel and Word
* Experience with CMM a plus
