Confluent Medical Technologies is looking for a Laser Equipment Technician to join our Fremont, CA Graveyard Shift Team. We have openings for the following schedule: Tuesday to Saturday (Sun and Mon nights off) or Sunday to Thursday (Fri and Sat nights off). Regular hours are from 9:45PM to 6:15AM.

Our primary capabilities include: nitinol components, balloon catheters, delivery systems, biomedical textiles, access kits, and guidewires. As a uniquely qualified candidate, you will:

* Mechanically inclined and able to use basic hand tools. Knowledge in basic electronics is a plus.* Trouble shoots laser systems as needed* Setup jobs by following work schedules or priorities* Maintains a safe condition for the laser systems and the production area by following equipment operating procedures* Understand and maintain process documentation (Work Instructions, Drawings, Travelers and Operating Manuals).* Regularly report on operation status, schedule progress and key assigned project (if any)* Highly effective communicator of technical status and issue required. Enjoys team approach over individual contributions.* Support and enforce company goals and objectives, policies and procedures.

Education and Experience:

* High school diploma with a minimum of 3 years of related work experience or equivalent required.* Associate degree in laser technology a plus.* Intimate knowledge of laser alignment, equipment usage and safety a plus.* Must be proficient in using a PC, Microsoft Office programs: Word and Excel.* Strong communication skills - both written and oral
