Description Toole Design Group is looking to hire an experienced and talented full-time Regional Engineering Director to oversee and grow our thriving practice in the Southern Region-expanding from North Carolina to Texas. The Regional Engineering Director will support, collaborate, and lead a talented team of engineers who work on challenging multimodal projects that make communities more livable. A Day in the Life of the Regional Engineering Director As a Regional Engineering Director, you will collaborate with regional leadership, mentor individuals and project teams, design and implement multimodal transportation projects, and oversee project performance to ensure our work is consistently top quality. Fostering a positive culture and healthy morale while maintaining a productive work environment is an integral component of this role. Leadership duties will include coordinating regional workloads between offices and other regions, serving as a Principal in Charge (PIC) on key projects, and providing QAQC and other project support. In an industry that is constantly changing, you'll be at the forefront of delivering creative solutions to challenging projects. Along with other leadership in the South, you will develop and implement marketing, business development, and growth strategies for the region. Through collaboration with South Region Office Directors and in support of engineering leaders, you'll help identify key pursuits, form client outreach strategies, and build relationships. Your knowledge of local government authorities, decision-makers, advocates, and local standards and procedures will be key to your success. Work Schedule for a Regional Engineering Director This full-time position works three days per week in the office (typically Tuesday – Thursday). We also provide employees with the flexibility and necessary equipment to work from home up to two days per week. The Atlanta office of Toole Design is conveniently located intown, along the Atlanta BeltLine Eastside Trail, and within walking distance to MARTA. Requirements Qualifications for the Regional Engineering Director: PE license and local/regional consulting experience Strong written and verbal communication skills At least 15 years of engineering experience in conceptual design, alternatives analysis, and developing construction documents and/or public agency construction administration with a focus on streetscapes and multimodal projects At least 10 years serving in a project and/or design management role At least 10 years of experience with marketing and business development and a proven ability to develop and maintain client relationships A broad knowledge base in civil or transportation engineering, with specific experience in street design Experience developing construction documents and cost estimates Experience supporting local agencies and jurisdictions with permitting and project coordination Organized and skilled in time management #J-18808-Ljbffr
