Overview
The Vermont Department of Health is looking for an enthusiastic and experienced nurse to lead a dedicated, dynamic, and caring team towards improving population level health. There is a focus on staff development, staff evaluation, program implementation, performance management, and evaluation of interventions to improve health outcomes.
In addition to the minimum qualifications listed in the job specification, we believe a successful candidate will have the following qualifications:
Demonstrated ability to lead implementation of population-level public health interventions in a culturally competent way.
Demonstrated excellence in building collaborative relationships to address complex social issues that impact health.
Strong project management, group facilitation, and communication skills.
Strong supervision skills and considerable knowledge in conflict resolution, motivation and coaching skills.
* Starting rate may be negotiable based on experience and qualifications.
