Role Description This is a full-time, on-site position located in New Orleans, LA. The Ultrasound Technician will be responsible for operating ultrasound equipment to perform diagnostic examinations. Key responsibilities include preparing patients for procedures, capturing high-quality images, analyzing findings, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to provide accurate diagnostic results. Adherence to safety protocols and maintaining accurate patient records are essential aspects of this role. Qualifications Proficiency in operating ultrasound equipment and applying principles of Radiology and Medicine for diagnostic purposes. Certification by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS). Knowledge and expertise in imaging techniques, including Vascular and Abdominal sonography. Excellent attention to detail, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team and maintain empathy when providing patient care. Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related field preferred. Previous experience in a healthcare setting is a plus.
