Regional Vice President of Operations – Oregon and Washington Cogir Senior Living, based in Scottsdale, Arizona, oversees a network of senior living communities across 11 states. The Regional Vice President of Operations (RVPO) will support a group of senior living communities in Oregon and Washington. Job Type: Full‑time What We Offer: Health, Dental, Vision, and Life Insurance 401K with company match Paid Vacation, Holidays, and Sick Leave Employee Assistance Program Generous Employee Referral Program and more Position Summary: The RVPO will be the direct day‑to‑day overseer of operations and management for assigned communities, providing leadership and support to community management teams and regional leaders. Responsibilities include creating and reviewing operating plans, ensuring quality care, fostering partnerships, enhancing revenue, and achieving optimal business results. The RVPO will assist each community in establishing sales and revenue goals, ensuring strategic goals are communicated and implemented accurately. Key Responsibilities Direct the daily operations of multiple senior living residence facilities to ensure the highest quality while following facility and company standards. Recruit, hire, develop, and evaluate team members to build a collaborative culture. Develop and hold management teams accountable for delivering exceptional resident care and achieving financial outcomes. Develop long‑term objectives and strategies. Prepare and manage budgets, cash flow, occupancy, and financial performance reports. Lead the full continuum of care. Develop strategic partnership networks. Support operational, fiscal, employee, quality care, risk management, vendor, and cultural communication for all communities. Ensure resident and associate satisfaction. Review, develop, and assist in implementing company‑wide and facility‑based policies and procedures that exceed state and regulatory minimum requirements. Conduct comprehensive rounds to assess compliance with quality care standards, environmental services, government regulations, and company policies. Candidate Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s degree in business management, healthcare, hospitality, or a related field (required). Administrator license in OR and/or WA preferred. Experience: 7‑10 years of progressive leadership experience in retirement housing, hospitality, or healthcare operations (required). Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and senior living operational systems; strong time management, initiative, judgment, verbal and written communication, motivation, ethics, and positive attitude. Hiring experience: Ability to hire and build community leadership teams. Regulatory compliance: Familiarity with state regulatory compliance highly preferred. Partnerships: Experience building partnerships within the medical and local community. Acquisitions: Prior experience overseeing acquisitions or new building openings is a plus. Financial acumen: Proven operational and financial success, with the ability to apply critical thinking, assess business objectives, and develop, implement, and monitor effective business plans. Leadership: Visionary leadership skills. Special Requirements Availability to work evenings and/or weekends as needed. Availability to travel within the assigned region up to 75% of the time.
