Salary/Pay Rate/Compensation: $18.50-$20.50

What’s a typical day as a General Operator? You’ll be:
• Supporting a variety of responsibilities based on the current season.
• Inspecting and maintaining seed crops during spring and summer.
• Assisting with seed inventory management at the plant.
• Participating in harvesting and seed packaging during the busy fall season.
• Cleaning and packaging seed, supporting maintenance work, warehousing, and shipping seed in the winter.

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
• Have knowledge of production agriculture and production plant operations.
• Can safely perform duties in a timely fashion while maintaining seed quality.
• Are able to work independently or with a team.
• Can adjust to changing conditions and anticipate needs.
• Have the ability to make independent decisions.
