Responsibilities Oversee daily operations at the landfill site, ensuring all activities align with environmental regulations and safety standards. Lead and mentor a dedicated team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence. Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance site efficiency and sustainability. Monitor and manage site budgets, ensuring cost-effective operations without compromising quality. Collaborate with local authorities and stakeholders to maintain compliance and build strong community relationships. Conduct regular site inspections to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions promptly. Prepare and present detailed reports on site performance, highlighting achievements and areas for improvement to senior management. Qualifications Education: Bachelor's Degree (accredited), or in lieu of a degree, High School Diploma or GED (accredited) and 4 years of relevant work experience Experience: 7 years of relevant work experience (in addition to the education requirement) SKILLS AND CERTIFICATIONS Landfill Operations Hazardous waste treatment and disposal Waste Facility Engineering and Operations Compensation $75,000 - $85,000 yearly About Desoto Recycling and Disposal At Desoto Recycling and Disposal, our mission is to provide local communities with outstanding customer service and an “easy to do business with” culture.
