It is our mission to work hand in hand with facilities to increase the accessibility of healthcare services to the geriatric population by bringing care directly to them.We provide on-site portable dentistry, podiatry, audiology & optometry at Senior Centers, Skilled Nursing Facilities, Assisted Living Facilities & Veteran Homes across 20+ states and are looking to expand that footprint. We pride ourselves on giving each participant exceptional and empathetic healthcare services. Comprehensive Mobile Care accomplishes that by providing state-of-art equipment, an onsite assistant, we handle all scheduling, billing, and administrative work which allows your sole focus to be the patient.Position SummaryA compassionate and experienced Optometrist (Part-Time) is needed to provide care to the elderly. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care to seniors, with an emphasis on comfort, respect, and proper eye health.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform comprehensive eye exams for geriatric and underserved populationsDiagnose and manage ocular conditionsPrescribe corrective lenses and coordinate with facility staff to support patient needsEducate patients and/or facility staff on preventive eye care and condition managementEnsure a respectful, safe, and comfortable environment tailored to geriatric needsQualificationsDoctor of Optometry (OD) degreeActive state license in OptometryExperience in geriatric or mobile care preferredStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and adapt to facility-based care settingsSchedule4-6 days per monthWeekday availability8 hour day, 8:30AM-4:30PMCompensation$700-$800 per day👀 Ready to make a difference?
