Key Responsibilities
  1. Clean and sanitize resident rooms, community areas, and other work spaces to ensure health and safety standards are met.
  1. Operate various cleaning equipment, including vacuum cleaners, washing machines, and other devices as required.
  1. Use and comply with standard precautions of safety at all times.
  1. Ensure that all areas of the facility are kept clean and free of lingering odors or trash.
  1. Complete laundering tasks as needed and assist with serving and meal delivery.
  1. Carry linens, towels, toilet items, and cleaning supplies using wheeled carts; keep storage areas and carts clean and tidy.
  1. Replenish cleaning supplies and bathroom items as needed.
  1. Move and arrange furniture and turn mattresses as required.
  1. Observe precautions required to protect residents' and guests' property and report any damage, theft, or found articles to Administration.
  1. Prepare rooms for meetings and arrange decorations, media equipment, and furniture for social or business functions.
  1. Use proper lifting procedures and safe work practices at all times.
  1. Maintain a positive and friendly work environment and respond to resident requests promptly and courteously.
  1. Comply with all healthcare requirements, including Tuberculosis skin test, and maintain a positive standing with all healthcare agencies.
