POSITION SUMMARY The VP of Professional Services is a key executive role to enable growth, delight our customers, and forge long-standing customer relationships based on the premise of constantly delivering value added benefit for our customers. Reporting to the CEO, the VP, Professional Services is comprehensively responsible for all customer implementations and post-implementation customer support for Digital Wave globally. The VP, Professional Services will lead, mentor, and grow the current professional services teams comprised of technical consultants, project managers, implementation consultants and customer support analysts. The VP, Professional Services will also be heavily involved in sales cycles to earn trust with new customers and ensure continuity of success from the sales cycle through transitioning to customer support, with the goal being to establish long-term value-added relationships with our customers. This visionary leader will have the ability to improve upon delivery best practices, improve partner delivery models, bring innovative perspectives and creative energy to this fast-paced, growing organization. Requirements Customer Relationships Management Serve as executive sponsor for Digital Wave customer implementations ensuring deliverables are on time and on budgetBuild and maintain trusted advisor executive level relationships across the customer baseManage any escalations to successful outcomesEnsure Customer Support mode and execution is well within SLA targets and guidelines Delivery and Operational Meet or exceed professional services revenue and cost goals in accordance with the overall company planOrganically grow revenue within the implemented customer base by delivering additional value and services to customersBring best practices approach to delivery excellence while being flexible to the evolving innovative technologies being deployedCollaborate and partner with R&D, Sales, and Product Management across the entire software life cycleAlign delivery partner strategy to overall company goalsLead, mentor, recruit, and grow the professional services team and customer support team in alignment with company growth objectivesEffectively lead and engage remote teams across time zones and continentsIdentify and onboard top-notch talentEliminate any obstacles to success for the professional services team and support team by collaborating with executive peers within the organizationServe as an inspiring leader that motivates the team and empowers them to utilize their skills for personal growth as well as customer delivery success Desired Experience and Qualities Deep domain experience in Retail, CPG, and or other verticals that Digital Wave servicesProven experience in professional services leadership roles within a software provider organization (15 years)Demonstrated ability to forge executive level relationships with customersProven track record of successful software implementations of complex, transformative programs for multi-billion-dollar customersStrong familiarity with best practices project management and delivery methodologies, inclusive of Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid approachesOutstanding communication skills – with internal teams, with customers, and for potential speaking engagementsExperience managing budgets in accordance with company and departmental P&LsAbility to collaborate with departmental heads to gain alignment for successful customer outcomesProven ability to function at the tactical level, while providing strategic direction for the team and in alignment with company goalsLeadership style that is conducive to inspiring and motivating teams and empowering growth and excellence within the professional services and support teamsAbility to travel as necessary for customer engagements, conferences, and internal company meetings.Passport required for international travelProficiency with using AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Copilot, Perplexity) to support efficiency and productivity within your role is required.
