Job Skills / Requirements Sunstates Security is hiring Flex Security Officers covering multiple sites in the San Jose, CA area. Flex positions offer a pay rate of $31/hr, paid weekly. Must be flexible to work any shift and travel to nearby sites. Benefits include a commute‑friendly location, extensive industry training, and advancement opportunities. Requirements CA Guard Card/40‑hour Certificate preferred CPR Card Pass a Sunstates background check, including a 10‑panel drug screen and client background check 21 years of age or older with a valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and at least 3 years of driving experience Responsibilities Provide exceptional customer service by upholding standards in a friendly, professional, and courteous manner. Maintain composure and an infectious attitude toward arising issues, adapting quickly to develop practical solutions with minimal supervision. Prepare all required written reports in a timely manner, including Daily Activity Reports (DARs) and Incident Reports. Operate phones, radios, and computer systems/applications such as MAC OS, Microsoft Office 365, and Google Suites. Monitor CCTV and alarm panels for emergencies and potential issues. Follow site‑specific post orders, pass down messages, and remain compliant with employee handbook guidelines at all times. Conduct interior and exterior patrols within an office and an industrial complex. Education Requirements High School diploma or equivalent.
