Inside Sales Rep

If you have strong sales and communication skills, we have an excellent opportunity as an Inside Sales Rep in Northampton MA. This is a temporary position is 100% onsite (not remote or hybrid) and is to fill in for someone on leave and is expected to last at least 3 months or longer. While not guaranteed, there is potential for long-term career opportunity.
Schedule: Monday - Friday, standard business hours
Pay: $47,000 to $52,000 (paid hourly at $23.00 to $25.00 per hour) based on experience
What you will do:
Proactively reach out to existing customers to identify opportunities for upselling, cross-selling, and contract renewals.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
Generate new sales leads through outbound calls, emails, and other channels.
Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments to identify new sales opportunities.
Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction, address any concerns, and secure repeat business.
Meet or exceed sales targets and KPIs on a regular basis.
What is essential for this job:
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Sales, Marketing, or related field (preferred).
Proven track record of success in inside sales or a similar role, preferably in the industrial or manufacturing sector.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to articulate technical concepts clearly and persuasively.
Excellent interpersonal skills with a customer-focused mindset.
Self-motivated and results-oriented, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Knowledge of air compressor systems and related products (preferred).
Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively.
Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and sales techniques.
