*Duties:*
- Provide direct and comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Emergency Room
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Monitor and document patient vital signs and symptoms
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to ensure quality patient care
- Assist with emergency medical procedures as needed
- Educate patients and their families on healthcare procedures and self-care techniques
*Skills:*
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to remain calm and composed in high-stress situations
- Proficient in using electronic medical record systems (e.g., eClinicalWorks)
- Knowledge of emergency room protocols and procedures
- Familiarity with sterile processing techniques
- Experience in infant and toddler care is a plus
- Understanding of coding and billing practices in healthcare settings
- Knowledge of sonography, mammography, dermal fillers, and esthetic laser treatment is a plus
*Requirements:*
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Ohio
- Minimum of [1+] years of experience working in an emergency room setting
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred
- High School/Diploma/ Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree preferred but not required
