Time and a half after 40 hours; Double time on Sundays. Responsible for producing assemblies using component parts per written and verbal work instructions. Will use hand and power tools, machines, and their own hands including material handling and packaging on pallets. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Follows production schedules to meet customer delivery requirements and maintain efficiency levels. Prepares work to be accomplished by studying assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, and parts lists; gathering parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials. Positions parts and subassemblies by using templates or reading measurements. Assembles components by examining connections for correct fit; fastening parts and subassemblies. Verifies specifications by measuring completed component to assure quality product. Keeps equipment operational by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions; notifies supervisor if repairs are needed. Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with housekeeping procedures, rules, and regulations. Maintains supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level Documents actions by completing production and quality forms. Team Player by following the 5 S techniques and using required PPE by specific area required-skills: Requirements Must be able to perform the job successfully and at a fast and safe pace Maintain clean and organized workspace Able to lift up to 50# Must have attention to detail Must read a tape measure (must take tape measure assesment ) Must be able to stand up to 8-10 hours Work well with others, be a team player Is dependable, reliable and punctual Follow directions given by the production supervisor on a work task basis Must follow all PPE guidelines; must have steel toe boots/shoes. required-experience: Mechanical Machine experience
