Emergency Room Nurse Navigator
The Emergency Department Navigator is responsible for facilitating patient flow through the Emergency Department to provide optimum efficiency of department resources and timely management of patient care. Coordinates with Charge Nurses, physicians, department staff, and nursing supervisors to assure efficient movement of patients into, and out of, the Emergency Department.
You will collaborate with the ED Director to follow up on patient care issues.
* You will determine the bed placement of EMS and walk-in patients in collaboration with the Charge Nurse/Waiting Room Coordinator.
* You will maintain Team Triage Model to ensure initial assessments are completed, prioritization of patients to appropriate areas, and timely medication administration by clinical staff.
* Current RN licensure by TN Board of Nursing or a Board of Nursing from a compact state
* TriStar Hendersonville Medical Center is a 150 bed hospital that has provided high-quality health care for over 40 years. The facility is the first Accredited Chest Pain Center in Sumner County and a Certified Primary Stroke Center. The Birth Center at TriStar Hendersonville, featuring Sumner County's only Level II NICU services which hosts spacious LDRP suites and a lactation boutique for inpatient and outpatient services. In addition, our facility is Gold Seal Certified in Total Hip and Total with The Joint Commission.
