Plant Controller

Description:
Responsible for directing financial affairs for the plant, providing financial analyses of operations for guidance, and preparing reports outlining the plant's financial position in the areas of income, expenses, and earnings, based on past, present, and future operations.
Essential Job Duties:
- Oversees preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
- Determines depreciation rates to apply to capitalized items.
- Advises management on desirable operational adjustments due to tax revisions.
- Prepares governmental reports.
- Arranges for audits of plant's accounts.
- Advises management about insurance coverage for protection against property losses and potential liabilities.
- May establish major economic objectives an policies for the plant.
