Catering Attendant

Express Employment Professionals is seeking Banquet Servers to work with local catering and country clubs. The Banquet Server is responsible for providing exceptional food and beverage service to guests during banquet events. This role involves setting up, serving, and breaking down events while ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, efficient, and able to work well in a fast-paced environment.

Schedule: Gig based. Weekends and Evenings.

Key Responsibilities:

Event Setup: Assist with setting up banquet rooms, including arranging tables, chairs, linens, table settings, and other event materials.
Guest Service: Greet guests warmly, take orders, and serve food and beverages promptly and courteously. Address any guest needs or concerns with a positive and professional attitude.
Food & Beverage Service: Serve food and beverages according to event standards, ensuring proper portion control and presentation. Refill beverages as needed and clear dishes from tables throughout the event.
Event Breakdown: Assist with the breakdown of event spaces, including clearing tables, stacking chairs, and cleaning the event area.
Maintain Cleanliness: Keep banquet areas clean and organized before, during, and after events. Adhere to food safety and sanitation standards.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with other servers, kitchen staff, and event coordinators to ensure smooth event operations.
Problem-Solving: Handle any issues that arise during the event, such as guest complaints or service delays, with professionalism and efficiency.
Inventory Management: Assist in maintaining inventory levels of banquet supplies, including linens, tableware, and beverages.
Compliance: Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.

Qualifications:

Experience: Previous experience as a banquet server or in a similar role is preferred but not required.
Skills: Strong customer service skills, ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, and excellent communication skills.
Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for long periods, lift and carry heavy trays, and perform physically demanding tasks.
Availability: Flexible schedule with the ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by event schedules.
Team Player: Ability to work well with others and contribute to a positive team environment.
