FP&A Analyst I Summary of Position: This role supports the Finance team’s efforts to provide financial analysis and business insight across departments and legal entities, as well as at the consolidated level. The FP&A Analyst will act as a business partner to teams, including Mining Operations, Marketing & Sales, Human Resources, Business Development, and other departments and business segments. The FP&A Analyst will support financial planning, performance analysis, and cross‑functional initiatives contributing to the company’s operational and strategic goals. Partner with functional teams to provide financial insight that supports business decision‑making and performance improvement. Support the development and review of budgets, forecasts, and long‑term financial plans, using tools such as OneStream. Analyze financial and operational data from systems, including Ellipse, identifying trends, variances, and improvement opportunities. Assist in preparing and consolidating monthly reports, forecasts, and KPIs, ensuring data integrity and timeliness. Prepare presentations and dashboards to communicate financial performance clearly to non‑financial stakeholders. Participate in cross‑functional projects, offering financial support and helping align team goals with broader business strategy. Maintain and strengthen relationships with stakeholders to ensure Finance is seen as a trusted partner in the business. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to support scenario planning by modeling and analyzing various potential outcomes, enabling the business to prepare for various strategic and operational scenarios. Necessary Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Management, and/or equivalent degree 2–4 years of experience in financial analysis, preferably with exposure to multiple business functions. Working knowledge using a financial planning/consolidation tool (OneStream, Workday, Oracle Fusion, Hyperion, etc.) Strong Excel skills and familiarity with data visualization tools. Solid grasp of financial concepts and the ability to apply them in a business context. Comfortable working collaboratively across functions and presenting insights to various audiences. Motivated, detail‑oriented, and eager to learn and grow within the organization. Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is required to continuously sit with frequent forward bending and rotation. The employee must frequently lift, carry and/or move up to 15 pounds; rarely to horizontally lift up to 34 pounds; and rarely lift, carry and/or move up to 50 pounds or swing up to 12 pounds. The employee is required continuously stand with forward bending and frequently rotating; kneel; and frequently to walk; climb stairs; crouch; squat repetitively; and occasionally crawl. Rarely the employee is required to squat repetitively or reach up to 74”. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Working Environment: Works in office environment and site environment. This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. Working outdoors in all weather conditions; working in plant environment; working in shop environment; and working in the cab of equipment or vehicle.
