A nationwide company providing healthcare services to nursing homes is looking to immediately hire a Podiatrist (DPM) to service locations located in The Villages in the State of Florida. All equipment and staffing staffing. A minimum of 2 years of experience is required.
This job includes diagnosing and treating conditions related to the feet, ankles, and lower legs, with the following job description includes:
- Examining patients' feet, ankles, and lower legs to diagnose problems such as fractures, sprains, infections, and deformities.
- Develop treatment plans that may include medication, physical therapy, orthotics (shoe inserts), or surgery.
- Prescribing medications and ordering diagnostic tests such as X-rays or MRI scans.
- Performing surgical procedures such as removing bone spurs or repairing fractures.
- Educating patients on proper foot care techniques and preventive measures to avoid future problems.
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals such as primary care physicians or physical therapists to provide comprehensive care for patients.
- Keeping detailed records of patient visits and treatment plans.
