DetailsManageable and Sustainable Caseload: Average of 15 patients per day. Flexible Schedule: Generally, Monday-Friday, day shifts. Work-Life Balance: Once monthly weekend rounding and once per week evening call coverage by phone only. Primary DutiesConduct medical assessments, initial H&Ps within 24 hours of admission, follow-ups, and patient discharges. Work closely with psychiatrists, psychologists, therapists, and other support staff to develop and implement integrated treatment plans that address both mental health and medical issues. Co-manage patients with complex medical comorbidities during their length of stay, alongside Psychiatrists, other mental health providers, and support staff. Provide medical education to patients and their families regarding their medical conditions, medications, and lifestyle modifications that may impact overall health.Provide medical consults as needed in the General Adult units, Mission Resiliency Program (military, veterans, etc.), and Detox/SUD units.Please note: This position requires 3+ years of previous work experience as an NP or PA (clinical rotations and preceptor hours are not included).
