Description Must be enrolled in a Surgical Technologist certification/degree program with only 6-8 months left to completion. Job Summary & Qualifications Candidate graduates in 6 to 8 months. The Surgical Technologist Extern delivers high quality, patient-centered care by performing basic patient care services to support the surgical suite. Under the supervision of the Circulating RN, the Extern assists the surgical staff in the perioperative process and maintains a clean, well-organized, and safe patient care environment. The Extern is currently enrolled and in good standing in an approved surgical technology school and can perform higher-level procedures once competency is achieved.
