VB Spine is seeking one or more talented junior to mid-level Legal Counsel to join its expanding legal department. This is a unique opportunity to work alongside highly accomplished attorneys and contribute meaningfully to a wide range of commercial and corporate matters.You’ll be part of a small, high-performing legal team in a hybrid role based in New York City, combining in-person collaboration and mentorship with flexibility and autonomy with room to take on increasing responsibility as the company grows.Key ResponsibilitiesDraft, review, and negotiate a variety of commercial agreements, including vendor, customer, service, distribution, and confidentiality contracts.Provide day-to-day legal support across general corporate matters, governance, compliance, and contract management.Collaborate cross-functionally with business teams including sales, operations, marketing, and finance to align legal risk with business goals.Help improve legal workflows, templates, and internal processes as the legal function continues to scale.Manage and coordinate with outside counsel on specialized matters as needed.QualificationsJ.D. from an accredited law school with strong academic credentials.Licensed to practice law and in good standing in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.2–6 years of legal experience, ideally with at least 1–2 years at a nationally recognized law firm.Strong experience in commercial contracts and general corporate legal matters.Excellent communication, judgment, and organizational skills.Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with shifting priorities.A proactive, collaborative mindset and a desire to learn from and contribute to a strong legal team.Compensation And BenefitsBase salary range of $180,000 to $250,000, depending on experience and qualifications.Comprehensive benefits package.Hybrid schedule with regular in-person collaboration in the New York City office and flexibility built in.Why Join VB Spine?Be part of a high-growth company where legal is seen as a key business partner.Work alongside experienced attorneys and gain hands-on mentorship and exposure.Take on varied, meaningful work with a path for continued growth and responsibility.Help shape legal operations at a company that values innovation, teamwork, and impact.VB Spine is an equal opportunities employer and welcomes applications from diverse candidates. #J-18808-Ljbffr
