Join to apply for the Senior Order Manager role at World Wide Technology Brief Overview A Senior Order Manager is responsible for owning and managing all aspects of the lifecycle of customer orders from creation to product delivery. This role requires an advanced working knowledge of supply chain and programmatic processes, an understanding of key internal systems, the ability to analyze data, troubleshoot and resolve complex issues, and the ability to influence and direct cross-functional teams and activities that ensure the successful and timely delivery of orders. Senior Order Managers also apply a continuous improvement mindset to make recommendations on process and/or system enhancements, as well as take an active role in implementation. Senior Order Managers ensure best practices are followed within the organization and during new program onboarding. Senior Order Managers take a lead role in building and maintaining high-performance relationships with customers and all supporting teams resulting in the achievement of customer SLA’s and outcomes. Senior Order Managers are required to take a proactive, detailed, and timely approach to communication and help identify and mitigate risk early to prevent customer‑impacting issues. Job Responsibilities Owns the entire lifecycle of a WWT Order from creation to final product delivery to the customer, which includes transactional inputs. This level of order management requires deep system and supply chain knowledge, as well as the ownership of strategically troubleshooting and resolving complex order related issues. Acting as the key point of contact and liaison to the customer and operations; ultimately accountable for customer delight. Creating and maintaining accurate order-related data/information in WWT's ERP systems. Taking a self-driven approach to proactively identify and solve problems to mitigate risk and develop contingency plans both individually and through their team(s). Leading cross-functional accountability throughout WWT Supply Chain. Creating and consuming reports/data to direct daily tasks that drive execution and ensure customer requirements, KPI’s, and contractual agreements are satisfied. Leading direct customer interaction to provide updates, data-driven insights, and communicate risks. Drive a continuous improvement mindset to enhance current processes and achieve operational excellence. Responsible for the successful onboarding of new customers to ensure customer delight, and operational effectiveness. Leading the training and skills development of other employees within the team. Overseeing cross-functional issues and ensuring all functions within the organization are performing to program expectations. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree Business, Supply Chain Management or related field required. 3+ years' progressive experience in supply chain management, preferably in a complex manufacturing environment. 3+ years in customer facing experience. Previous experience with an ERP or MRP system (i.e., Oracle, SAP, etc.). Previous experience using Excel. This position is required to work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on doing whatever it takes to get the job done and deliver customer delight. The nature of the role requires an ability to deliver high quality, thorough and accurate work on deadlines through successful navigation of shifting customer requirements and competing organizational demands. Standard business hours are generally observed, with work from home schedules and flexibility on start/end times, and there may also be opportunities for overtime and periodic domestic/international travel (up to 10%). This role will be expected to work in an open-office environment with desk sharing/hoteling practices. Travel between our Maryland Heights, MO and Edwardsville, IL locations is common. Licenses and Certifications APICS (Association for Supply Chain Management) - Certified in Logistics, Transportation and Distribution (CLTD) preferred.
