Well-established engineering and construction firm in the Lehigh Valley is seeking a Drafter to join their team.

The position is an integral part of the design team assigned to a project. This person will interact daily with external team members (Architects, Engineers, and Design Consultants) as well as internal team members from DED, Manufacturing, and Project Management.

Responsibilities:
* Creation of shop drawings (elevations, plans, sections, details, shop, and field applied shapes, schedules) that capture and communicate our design intent for a project.
* Drawing support for project engineers and the sales department.
* Strong technical aptitude and knowledge
* Ability to work harmoniously in a collaborative team-oriented environment
* Strong work ethics, creative, self-motivated, organized, personable, and communicates clearly
* Other duties as assigned.
* The position may periodically require evening and weekend time commitments to meet project schedules.

Job Requirements

Requirements:
* Associate degree or minimum of 1 year of related work experience in architectural and structural design.
* An understanding of AutoCAD.
* The ability to read and understand Architectural drawings, Structural drawings, window, steel, and concrete shop drawings
* Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
* Possess strong organizational skills and be detail-oriented.
* Must be able to follow verbal and written instruction with minimal supervision.
* Must have excellent communication skills and be a strong team player.
