Job Description

As an Electrical Assistant Superintendent, you will play a key role in the successful execution of our electrical construction projects. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting in developing project chart of accounts, CPM schedule, subcontracts/purchase orders, and project responsibility listings
  • Coordinating, implementing, and monitoring Project Engineer training and development
  • Providing administrative support for the Project Superintendent and leadership to project staff
  • Assisting the Superintendent with coordinating activities, schedules, material procurement, and project logistics
  • Tracking, reviewing, and processing change proposal requests, change orders, and claims
  • Implementing all applicable safety, EEO, and Affirmative Action programs
  • Assisting in establishing, maintaining, and leading the on-site Total Quality Management process
  • Managing the preparation/execution of project closeout processes

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • 4+ years of experience with electrical construction projects
  • Advanced knowledge of electrical construction principles/practices
  • General knowledge of construction principles/processes
  • Experience building relationships with owners and managing field staff
  • Proven commitment to safety
  • Ability to travel 100% nationwide
  • Journeyman license/Apprenticeship certification/Master or state electrical license
