Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more.Base pay range$74,000.00/yr - $90,000.00/yrDCI Engineers - SeattleDCI Engineers, a leading structural and civil engineering consulting firm with 20+ offices spanning the United States, has an opportunity for a full-timeDCI Engineers - SeattleDCI Engineers, a leading structural and civil engineering consulting firm with 20+ offices spanning the United States, has an opportunity for a full-time Structural Project Engineer in its Seattle office.Responsibilities Of a Structural Project EngineerPerform and coordinate the structural design of assigned projects under the supervision of the Project ManagerCollaborate with BIM Designers to produce structural construction documents and draft details in REVITAssist Project Managers with Construction Support, including shop drawing review and answering RFIsBe attentive to details and provide accurate construction documentsProgressively grow your technical knowledge through both internal project experience and continuing educationRequirements For a Structural Engineer0-4 years of structural engineering experience, as it relates to building designWorking knowledge and project experience using steel, concrete, wood, and masonry design materialsExperience designing all categories of seismic and gravity framing systemsBasic knowledge of design/build codes, such as the AISC, ACI 318, IBC, and ASCE 7Working knowledge of structural analysis software, such as RISA 3D, RAM, ETABS, Enercalc, ADAPT, etc.Ability to manage your time, juggling multiple tasks and projects simultaneouslyDesire to provide excellent service and build client relationshipsMaintain a positive attitude and willingness to learnEffective communication skillsPossess a state-issued Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certificateStructural/Civil/Architectural Engineering degree from an ABET accredited university, preferredMaster’s degree preferredAt DCI Engineers, you’ll find more than just a job – you’ll discover a team that values collaboration, adventure, and a lifestyle you crave.
