The Sr. HRIS Analyst is an essential role in leveraging best in class technologies to drive HR’s strategic initiatives. The Sr. HRIS Analyst will collaborate with various departments to implement/enhance HRIS processes and functionalities, act as a liaison between users, management, and vendors on HRIS system issues and projects. This could include system design and system configuration, along with operational or functional issues.

Workday Maintenance and System Support (60%):

Serve as a subject matter expert for Workday across all modules, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure effective system configuration and data quality.
Take a consultative approach to create requirements documents for system changes, empowering teams to develop solutions and internal documentation with guidance and knowledge transfer.
Manage HCM integrations and act as a liaison between vendors and internal customers to identify requirements and implement necessary system changes.
Oversee scheduled Workday releases by reviewing new features, facilitating testing, and developing documentation and communication materials for large implementations.
Create dashboards and report templates for HR and leadership, ensuring system security through role creation, security groups, and compliance with legal requirements and internal standards.

System Enhancements and Optimization (40%):

Collaborate with HR Functional Leads, HR Leadership, and the HR Technology team to understand end-user needs, evaluate processes, and identify automation opportunities across functional areas.
Act as a change agent for Workday, enhancing manager and employee self-service capabilities to drive adoption, improve efficiency, and enhance user experience.
Stay updated on Workday releases and functionality, assessing their relevance to business needs while monitoring HRIS technology trends and leveraging vendor relationships.
Provide assessment and impact analysis of Workday feature releases and lead optimization projects to maximize system potential for business users and HR functions.
Assist in developing the Workday product roadmap, aligning capabilities with business objectives, and recommending improvements to streamline processes and enhance the end-user experience.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree an equivalent combination of education and directly related work experience required.
A minimum of 5 years of Human Resources and/or HRIS experience is required.
A minimum of 2 years of hands-on Workday experience strongly preferred.
Workday Pro Certification is preferred.
Experience in system life-cycle phase, requirements, analysis, design, testing, implementation, deployment, and system upgrade.
In-depth understanding of HR domain and workflows.
Ability to effectively present technical and functional information in a manner that is understandable to all levels of the organization.
Project management experience with demonstrated ability to multi-task and prioritize.
Advanced analytical skills including excellent problem-solving skills with an understanding of core HR business practices (HRIS, Compensation, Benefits, Recruiting, HR Shared Services)
