This role owns the day-to-day management of the P&L and serves as a key partner to operations, sales, and leadership to ensure work is priced, staffed, billed, and executed profitably.While financial leadership is the primary focus, success in this role requires a strong understanding of field operations, labor deployment, job flow, and service delivery to translate operational activity into accurate financial results and actionable insights.What You Will DoOwn and manage the P&L for Commercial Energy ServicesMonitor revenue, costs, margins, and variances against budgetAnalyze financial performance and provide regular reporting and insights to leadershipPartner with leadership to develop budgets, forecasts, and cost-control strategiesIdentify trends, risks, and opportunities to improve profitabilityOwn labor cost performance, including wages, overtime, and prevailing wage complianceDevelop a working understanding of field operations, job execution, and scheduling to support accurate forecasting and cost managementIdentify operational inefficiencies impacting margins and collaborate on corrective actionsOversee accurate and timely invoicing for all Commercial Energy Services workEnsure invoices align with contracts, pricing agreements, prevailing wage requirements, and completed workCoordinate with operations and sales teams to resolve billing discrepanciesSupport collections efforts by providing documentation and resolving invoice questionsMaintain compliance with customer requirements, contracts, and regulatory obligationsManage relationships with vendors and subcontractors supporting Commercial Energy ServicesReview vendor contracts, pricing, and service agreementsTrack vendor performance, costs, and compliance requirementsIdentify opportunities to negotiate pricing, improve service levels, or streamline vendorsWhat You Will NeedBachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field5+ years of experience in financial management, operations, or a similar roleDemonstrated experience owning or managing P&L responsibilitiesStrong understanding of invoicing, billing, and vendor managementWorking knowledge of operational workflows in a service-based or project-driven environmentAdvanced proficiency in Excel and financial reporting toolsStrong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skillsAbility to communicate effectively and work cross-functionally with operations, sales, and leadershipWhat We OfferCompetitive compensation packageGenerous medical insurance offeringsDental and vision plansCompany-paid life insuranceCompany-paid short-term disability401(k) with company matchHealth savings accountsGenerous Paid Time Off policies7 paid holidaysEmployee and family assistance programCompany-paid trainingSafety incentivesYears of service incentivesReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
