SHOP FOREMAN

Summary Objective:

This position performs quality control, time entry, part searches, team motivation, and daily reporting.

Essential Functions:

  • Keep the service manager apprised of all shop needs
  • Motivate the technicians to stay on task and meet job deadlines
  • Perform quality control checks on all completed jobs
  • Verify that all comments are added to each job in Treqso
  • Assist service manager with technician time entry in Treqso
  • Assist technicians with all missing parts to increase job efficiency

Work Environment

This position works in an office setting, with shop exposure during the workday. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers and phones.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands and fingers to handle, feel, or type; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. with an hour lunch, but hours could change based on need.

Travel

No travel is expected for this position.

Preferred Education and Experience

1+ years’ experience as a service technician
