We are actively seeking a Clinical Rater for our Flourish Research site in Ravenswood, Chicago, IL. Location: 1945 W Wilson Ave, Suite 6104, Chicago, IL 60640 Shift: Monday-Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM Compensation: Based on experience Benefits: Health, dental, and vision insurance plans, 401(k) with 4% match, tuition reimbursement, parental leave, referral program, employee assistance program, life insurance, disability insurance, and 15 days of PTO + 10 company holidays. RESPONSIBILITIES Administer and score clinical efficacy scales across indications (e.g., MDD, PTSD, ADHD, Alzheimer’s disease, substance use disorders) per protocol and sponsor conventions; complete all required rater certifications and trainings on time. Ensure data integrity by following GCP/ICH, IRB requirements, and sponsor‑specific procedures; submit accurate, audit‑ready data and resolve data queries promptly. Participate in ongoing rater calibration, investigator meetings, SIVs, and study‑related activities; utilize required technology to conduct assessments (including remote as applicable). Collaborate with Principal / Sub‑Investigators and coordinators to initiate assessments and clarify data; interact professionally with sponsors, study monitors, and medical monitors. Manage subject crises with professionalism and clinical expertise while minimizing placebo response through best‑practice interviewing and rating techniques. Represent Flourish Research with strong presentation skills in team meetings, sponsor interactions, and patient‑facing settings. Additional duties as assigned by management. QUALIFICATIONS Education: PsyD/Master’s/Doctorate required (a PsyD candidate without prior clinical research experience will be considered). Experience: Minimum 2+ years of clinical research rating experience (or combined clinical assessment/psychometric/academic research experience). Academic experience in clinical research is welcomed. Knowledge of FDA, GCP, ICH, HIPAA, IRB requirements, and medical terminology; proficiency with Microsoft Office and study technologies. Demonstrated clinical interviewing and DSM diagnostic skills; detail‑oriented with strong critical thinking, organization, and time management. Excellent interpersonal, written, verbal, and presentation skills; ability to work independently and collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams. Flexible, professional, and responsive to feedback; able to manage multiple tasks in a fast‑moving environment.
