Cognizant Technology Solutions is currently seeking a highly skilled QE Automation Architect who will be responsible for designing and implementing robust testing frameworks to ensure the highest quality of our payment solutions.

Ability to work independently and remotely, with willingness travel for client engagements as needed.

Responsibilities:

· Lead the design and implementation of testing frameworks using GIT TOSCA Cucumber Python TestNG Selenium Junit and UFT.

· Oversee the development and execution of automated test scripts to ensure the quality of payment solutions.

· Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the testing team to enhance their skills and performance.

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and deliver high-quality testing solutions.

· Ensure that all testing activities are aligned with industry best practices and company standards.

· Develop and maintain comprehensive test plans and test cases for various payment solutions.

· Conduct regular code reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve code quality and maintainability.

· Monitor and analyze test results to identify and resolve any issues or defects in a timely manner.

· Implement continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices to streamline the testing process.

· Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in testing technologies and methodologies.

· Work closely with the development team to ensure seamless integration of testing activities into the software development lifecycle.

· Provide detailed reports and documentation on testing activities results and improvements.

· Contribute to the overall improvement of testing processes and methodologies within the organization.

Required Skills/Qualifications:

· 13+ years of work experience in QEA – Quality Engineering & Assurance with strong knowledge in Automation (Selenium/restassured) + Continuous testing (Devops/Transformation)

· Possess strong technical skills in GIT TOSCA Cucumber Python TestNG Selenium Junit and UFT.

· Demonstrate extensive domain knowledge in Cards & Payments.

· Exhibit excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

· Show proficiency in developing and executing automated test scripts.

· Have experience in continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices.

· Display strong communication and collaboration skills.

· Be capable of providing technical guidance and mentorship to team members.

· Maintain a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.

· Stay updated with the latest industry trends and advancements.

· Be detail-oriented and capable of producing comprehensive documentation.

· Show ability to work effectively in a hybrid work model.

· Demonstrate a commitment to delivering high-quality solutions.

· Possess a strong understanding of software development lifecycle and testing methodologies.

Preferred Skills/Qualification:

· Good hold on programming language like Python or Java

· Exposure to microservices and various DB technology (SQL, NoSQL)
