Opportunity Details:Hospital-Based Pathologist Opportunity Palm Beach Gardens, FLAlan B. Miller Medical Center Palm Beach Gardens, FLAlan B. Miller Medical Center, a state-of-the-art facility located in Palm Beach Gardens, is actively seeking a Board-Certified Anatomic and Clinical Pathologist to join our growing team. This is a hospital-based position offering the opportunity to work in a highly collaborative environment with experienced colleagues.Position Highlights:Board Certification in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology required.Fellowship training in general or subspecialty anatomic pathology required.Minimum 3 years of experience preferred.Active Florida medical license required.Shared on-call schedule; 5 weeks of vacation annually.Grossing will be performed by a certified Pathologist AssistantNo autopsy responsibilitiesOpportunities to participate in Breast and Lung Tumor Boards (held three times/month)Key Responsibilities:Conduct thorough examination and evaluation of surgical pathology specimens.Independently perform frozen sections and assess specimen adequacy for cytology.Manage a daily mixed caseload of 30 35 specimens, including:Breast (core biopsies and excisions)Thoracic pathologyNon-neoplastic and limited neoplastic GYN.GU, GI, Neuro, limited Head & NeckLimited HematopathologyCytology: thyroid, lung EBUS, GI EBUSWork closely with laboratory staff and referring physicians to ensure accurate diagnoses and excellent patient care.Demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills in a multidisciplinary team environment.Alan B.
