Senior Software Engineer Employer: Optum Services Inc. Location: 1 Optum Circle, Eden Prairie, MN 55344 (Telecommuting available from anywhere in the U.S.) Duties: Research, design, and develop computer and network software or specialized utility program. Duties to include: Design, develop and deliver automated processes based on best practices for process automation delivery Use AI/ML to leverage the process automation frameworks Perform application development and support beyond the process automation - including cloud based application development, maintenance, support, DevOps Design and develop resilient, reliable, scalable and self-healing solutions to meet and exceed customer requirements Ensure 360-degree observability within system Rapid prototyping within an Agile methodology Contribute to the applications technology stack and drive progressive solutions to complex problems Work with technical and strategic product to create world class products Implement complex code based on guidance provided by lead engineer on initiative(s) Review existing platform for optimization opportunities Provide analytical advice in identifying and implementing new IT technologies in order to help clients and the company reach strategic objectives Estimate detailed design and development efforts and adhere to development timelines Adhere and socialize engineering best practices and code quality standards Eliminate redundant and manual processes through automation Collaborate with engineers within and across teams to build cohesive and optimal solutions Demonstrate work to technical and nontechnical stakeholder Requirements: Employer will accept a Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field and three (3) years of experience in the job offered or in an Engineering-related occupation. Position requires three (3) years of experience in the following: Process Automation Using RPA Tools including Blue Prism, Automation Anywhere, UiPath, Power Automate Database experience with SQL - Including writing queries and stored procedures Azure, AWS and other Cloud Platforms, and Azure Dev Ops GitHub and Power Applications Suite Building components and frameworks with .NET Platform, C#, and VB.NET Building Excel Macros, VBA components, and Office Scripts Agile, SCRUM Frameworks for SDLC SDLC tools and Software s including Rally, Service Now, and AHA Rate of Pay: $131,459- $155,295 / per year Please email your resume to GlobalRecruitment@uhg.com and reference job #2328089
