The hospital operates a Level 1 Trauma Center and maintains a strong academic affiliation with SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University. The mission is to provide high-quality healthcare to all residents of Brooklyn and Staten Island, emphasizing social and racial equity.The Gastroenterologist will provide inpatient and outpatient gastrointestinal care, evaluate and diagnose patients, develop treatment plans, perform endoscopic procedures, and supervise fellows and residents.
