The VP Clinical Practice & Integration is a clinical leader responsible for improving and driving clinical quality and efficiency across the organization's various programs and clinical service lines. The position will lead clinical strategic initiatives to standardize care delivery, enhance consumer experience, and align mission, organizational goals and objectives and evidence-based practices. The VP ideal candidate is clinically strategic, mission-driven leader with a track record of developing clinical processes that align with clinical goals and organizational strategy. This role will serve as a subject matter expert for clinical assessment, engagement, and providing guidance on complex cases and regulatory changes to maximize reimbursement while supporting quality clinical care. Salary Range $160-180 Key Responsibilities Provide clinical performance improvement leadership for identified program areas, overseeing the design, development, and execution of initiatives that align with the organization's strategic plan and mission. Ensure consistent, high-quality clinical delivery across the organization by establishing clinical benchmarks and timelines. Establish and oversee a framework for clinical program evaluation, including data collection systems and clinical performance metrics to measure impact. Use clinical outcomes and data to inform strategy and identify opportunities for improvement, effectively communicating results to internal and external stakeholders. Ensure robust compliance of accurate and timely documentation (including DLA-20, treatment plans, assessments, progress notes, etc.) and reliable reimbursements. Develop and oversee the implementation of process improvement plans to enhance quality of care, patient safety, and clinical outcomes. Ensure that all key clinical outcomes are evaluated and leveraged for maximum community impact. Monitor key clinical performance indicators and advice of corrective actions when necessary. Support Directors, Managers, and Program Staff engage in and working directly with consumers, including providing clinical supervision and having face-to-face client visits as needed. Meet with Program Leadership, Directors, and Managers regularly and provide real-time feedback, training, support, coaching, and professional development as needed. Develop and implement training programs to ensure consistent standards and implementation of evidenced based practices. Operational Strategy & Compliance Develop strategies to optimize the performance of clinical practices, including improving financial performance, client access, and operational efficiency. Monitor adherence to regulatory and accreditation standards set by agencies such as the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF). Clinical Integration & Quality Enhance the overall quality of care by reducing fragmentation and redundancy. Promote consumers’ whole health and preferences, ensuring that integrated care is delivered in a way that meets their specific needs. Identify areas for improvement, monitor performance, and inform the development of evidence-based protocols. Data Analysis Use data analytics to identify clinical trends, pinpoint areas for improvement. Direct the identification, implementation, and measurement of key clinical quality performance indicators and use data to identify and resolve performance gaps. Staff Responsibilities Models and reinforces Community Connections mission to provide behavioral health, residential services, and primary health care coordination for marginalized and disenfranchised women, men, youth, and children living in the District of Columbia, many of whom are coping with challenges including mental illness, addiction, and the aftermath of trauma and abuse. Protects the privacy of our consumer’s protected health information by maintaining compliance with HIPAA and other relevant CC related IT security regulations. Completes and stays current on role specific and organizational wide training. Performs other duties as assigned on an as-needed basis. Desired Knowledge/Skills/Abilities LICSW (social work) or LPC (counseling) in DC. Master’s In Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or related field from an accredited program. DC licensure in good standing (or DC-eligible within 90 days), proven clinical supervision credentialing/privileging history, and current compliance with CEU requirements. Clinical experience: 10+ years (at least 7+ in community mental health/SUD, PSH, ACT, street outreach, or justice-involved care). Leadership/people management: 5–8+ years leading multi-disciplinary teams (clinicians, peers, care managers, nurses). Executive scope: 3–5+ years on a senior leadership team with accountability for quality, compliance, utilization, and outcomes. Hands-on with DC DBH & DHCF/Medicaid, managed contract management, audits/corrective action plans, and value-based/quality incentives. Quality & accreditation: Led CARF and/or Joint Commission surveys, incident/risk management, sentinel event reviews, and performance improvement (PDSA, Lean). Data & EHRs: Proven use of data to drive outcomes (HEDIS, NCQA-aligned metrics), comfort with clinical dashboards. Strong team-building skills and the ability to drive change and innovation across multidisciplinary teams. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to influence stakeholders, negotiate with external partners, and present data-driven results. A strong understanding of budgeting, revenue cycle management, and financial performance metrics. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data to drive decisions and improve outcomes. #J-18808-Ljbffr
