Technical Senior Consultant – Risk Data Management Inclusively is partnering with a multinational professional services network to hire a Technical Senior Consultant – Risk Data Management. This role is NOT an internal position with Inclusively but with the partner company. Responsibilities Designing and implementing solutions to various data related technical challenges such as data architecture, data platforms, data solution implementation, data catalog implementation, data quality and data security. Leveraging data analytics tools and software to build robust and scalable solutions. Integrating and/or piloting next‑generation technologies such as cloud platforms, machine learning and Generative AI (GenAI). Working with clients to understand their challenges and requirements. Developing custom scripts, APIs and algorithms to automate data processing integration and analysis to generate insights. Presenting findings and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear, impactful manner. Facilitating change management processes to ensure smooth adaptation of new processes / data practices. Managing data catalog implementation and maintenance, ensuring optimal performance and availability, and enforcing best practices for metadata management and data lineage. Collaborating with data stewards, data owners, and business users to define and enforce data governance policies and standards; monitoring data quality metrics and governance KPIs. Integrating data catalogs such as Alation and Collibra with various data sources, databases, and BI tools; maintaining integration workflows and processes. Providing user training, support, and documentation for data catalog platforms; building best‑practice guides. Continuously identifying opportunities to improve data catalog functionality and user experience; staying up to date with platform features, updates, and industry best practices. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in data architecture, data management, data engineering, data science or data analytics. Proficiency in scripting and programming languages (Python, SQL, R, Java, Scala, etc.). Experience with Big Data tools (Hadoop, Hive, Pig, Impala, Mahout, etc.). Experience managing technical data projects and implementing data catalog solutions. Proficiency with data analytics tools/software to develop solutions. Experience developing statistical models and techniques. Experience developing data services and solutions in a cloud environment. Ability to analyze complex data sets and communicate findings effectively. Proven track record of effective written and verbal communication and complex problem solving in fast paced environments. Limited immigration sponsorship may be available. Ability to travel 75%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve. Preferred Qualifications Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, Financial Engineering, or a related field, or an MBA. Experience implementing large‑scale data initiatives and data catalog implementation. Experience with financial services industry rules and regulations. Cloud certification (e.g., AWS, Azure), Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP), or similar credentials. #J-18808-Ljbffr
