POSITION SUMMARY

The Graphic Designer will be responsible for creative design development and demonstrate the ability to contribute and enhance the creative design process providing collaborative project support. Develop digital and print solutions that are consistent with the company’s design quality and brand(s) standards. This position will support all traditional formats from menus to collateral and have a strong emphasis on digital media solutions including designing email campaigns, landing pages and other digital marketing assets from scratch. Ability to develop your designs into valid, clean and functional HTML and CSS (front-end development only) is a major plus This position is a mid-level position. It is a non-management position.

Essential Functions Statement(s)

  • Design and develop creative materials for all print formats to include; print ads, collateral, menus, signage, etc., as well as digital formats to include; website, email blasts, paid digital and social content, etc.
  • Brand identity and logo design.
  • Strong conceptual skills and copywriting skills a plus.
  • Photography planning and execution for use in print and electronic communications.
  • Collaborating with our creative team to enhance existing campaigns and create dynamic new campaigns.
  • Demonstrate workable knowledge of illustration and typography.
  • Must be proficient in the Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.)
  • Seeks brand relevant graphics and art to continue growth of in-house art library.
  • Provide team support to assist project overflow creating brand-enhancing in-restaurant merchandising, advertising and collateral support.
  • Work closely with creative team to ensure that all materials are built properly, saved properly and back-up efficiently thru our internal systems.
  • Must stay on top of trends and design platforms.
  • Must be able to bring innovative and brand relevant ideas to the table.
  • Must function effectively in a fast-paced environment and have a great, positive attitude.
  • Strong design skills required.
  • Strong work ethic.


SKILLS & ABILITIES

Education: Bachelor's Degree (four-year college or university)

Experience: Two to four years of related experience.

Software: Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, etc,) Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint.) Project Management Software Workamajig, Expertise in After Effect and digital animation a plus.
